Homemade degreaser

I use this everywhere for cleaning but it's an excellent degreaser for your stove top:

jar

orange/lemon peelings

white vinegar

Fill a jar 2/3 with the fruit peelings. Pour vinegar up to the top. After 7 days, drain into a spray bottle and use. The longer you leave it in the jar with the peelings, the stronger it will get.

  • I meant to say Ana that I made this and it really does work. Particularly good for cleaning the hoods of kitchen extractor fans, and of course stove tops.

    • Oh, I'm glad to hear this. It's brilliant, isn't it? :)
