From Palmers Green Community Newsletter:

On Sunday there's an opportunity to travel on vintage buses (with fares going to Red Nose Day) running on four routes centred around Wood Green. Two of the routes - the 29 and 144 - are still going strong, but the 233 was renumbered W3 when it was converted to flat fares in the late 1960s, while the 251 wasn't a London Transport route - it was operated by the long disappeared Eastern National company out of their garage at Wood Green and went all the way to Southend. Sadly, there will be no free rides to Southend on Sunday - the 251 will terminate at Tottenham Hale.
