Loft conversion companies

We are looking for a specialist firms who do loft conversions. Has anyone got a firm they recommend through employing them?

Happy to recommend Cannonbury Roofing (0207 226 6810) They done new roofs for us on 2 houses, no problems and excellent service.

Sorry to confuse the issue but we have had an awful distressing and disappointing time with Rooftop. We would not recommend them at all despite some individually good contractors as the emir communication and organisation and consideration have been generally terrible. 17 weeks and still no complete despite no structural issues or hidden problems with building.

This is a bit cheeky, but if anyone having their loft space or similar done has any leftover insulating panels/blocks, I'd happily take them off your hands! I've got some insulation repair to do in our draughty eaves so am on the look-out for spare insulation sections. Equally interested in any tip-offs to such materials spotted in skips locally...

  I recommend you get a few quotes, we didn't go for the cheapest nor the most expensive, but aimed for somewhere in the middle. As mentionied, we used Premier Lofts who finished the job in the agreed time and matched the staircase and windows to the original design. Anyway, Good Luck with search

Hi, as Susie mentioned, we are just coming to the end of our conversion and would definitely recommend Roof Top Rooms. They've been great. Not quite as speedy as they suggest (they told us 8 weeks and it was nearer 12) but hassle free. Very impressed with their attention to detail etc., too. We're very pleased with them. Several of my neighbours have commented too, that they've generally been pretty nice to have around and not too noisy and inconsiderate. Let me know if you want more info. Good luck!
