New trees for Outram Road

Residents of Outram Road have taken advantage of Haringey Council's tree sponsorship scheme and are now celebrating the planting of 6 new trees. We asked for spring blossom and autumn colour, and Haringey's chief Arboricultural officer Alex Fraser selected the following varieties: Liquidambar Styraciflua Worplesdon, Ginkgo Biloba and Prunus Umineko. We raised enough money to plant 7 trees and will have our final tree installed during the next tree planting season, starting in the late autumn.
