Dear all,
I would like to flag two similar initiatives based on a 'Pay it Forward' scheme in support to London businesses and NHS staff.
Pay it forward is a crowdfunding scheme where residents can pay for goods and services in advance to ease cash flow problems for the local businesses in their community and help them maintaining their business during the lockdown. I am linking two different sites below:
One is on the Mayor of London website , here you can either support a local business or nominate one, and businesses can launch their own crowdfunding. Here is the link: https://payitforward.london.gov.uk/
The other one, which is think is a particularly moving way of saying 'Thank you', is from the concert venue St John's Smith Square . The organisation is crowdfunding to create an NHS free tickets fund so that , when the venue can re-open again, NHS staff can register for the free tickets scheme and redeem their tickets for a concert of their choice at St John’s. Here's link: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/free-concert-tickets-for-nhs-staff
Keep safe, Alessandra
