Hello all
The yarn shop and haberdashery Slipstitch will be closing its doors at 108 Alexandra Park Road at the end of July. It's certainly not the end for Slipstitch as an endeavour but it won't have a permanent shopfront there. I'll still be found teaching and doing pop-ups from the autumn.

But in an excellent development, Tash & Tanya is moving into Slipstitch's big shop, where Slipstitch will retain a corner, selling yarn, kits and books. And there will also be some classes. So Rosie's excellent email updates will continue with further promising details to come.
Thank you Rosie for the update. I have loved having Slipstitch in our midst and am very sorry the shop is closing, though pleased to hear it will continue in other guises. Teaching and pop-ups sound really good, and I wish you lots of luck as you transition to this next phase.
Thank you Susie, that's really kind. I'll be sorry not to be a permanent fixture on Alexandra Park Road!
Very sorry to hear that Slipstich will be closing, Rosie! I often used to drop in for the odd zip, binding or sewing cotton, but I guess that doesn't really help keep the shop going! You needed lots more dedicated knitters.
But glad to hear that you will be continuing online, and with local workshops and classes.
