The phantom dog fouler of Crescent Road...

Apologies for the rather unsavoury subject. Over the last two or three weeks there has been a considerable increase in the amount of dog poo appearing on the pavement of Crescent (and possibly other) roads. Given the recent upsurge in the amount of excrement I expect this a newcomer to the area, with what is quite obviously a medium to large sized dog... Many of my neighbours are similarly aggrieved at this turn of events (particularly those with young children, who seem to step in it with alarming regularity).

I've reported to the council but not sure what else I can do - pretty unlikely I'll catch this person in the act! Has anyone on here tackled this problem before? Any tips for what works?

Thanks!

  • The Fouler has been rumbled by a neighbour... And given a good telling off! Hopefully that's done the trick...

    • The Fouler appears to have moved to Outram Road, I'm sorry to say.

    • Hey - result! So it was just one rogue dog/dog owner after all? One dog is enough and I'm glad to hear it has been resolved. Though worried which road the rogue dog-owner will now pick instead....

  • I'm sorry to hear this Grant - really horrible. I'm not sure what to suggest but hope others come up with some good ideas.
