The deadline to register to vote in the forthcoming General Election is almost upon us (20th April), and I'm worried about the potentially very low turnout among young people (though not in Scotland). I know that under the new voter registration system, it is up to each individual to get registered, whereas in the previous system, that was managed on a per household basis. Has anyone been aware of much debate about this recently? And if you know any young people who may not have registered, here are the links.
