Garden Open For Charity

Local artists Susan Bennett and Earl  Hyde will open their  unique garden for the National Gardens

 Scheme  on

Enjoy delicious home made teas on the lawn , browse our open studio, and choose plants to suit YOUR garden from our popular and MEGA plant sale. Many of the  PLANTS  ARE HOME GROWN AND VERY HAPPY TO GROW IN LOCAL CONDITIONS.

The garden was chosen as one of his FAVOURITES  by Alan Titchmarch for his ITV  series "Britain's Best Back Gardens^

It is also Maureen Lipman's favourite garden  She was a frequent visitor when she lived  in Colney Hatch Lane.

If you have never been .  .DO  satisfy your curiosity. You will NOT believe what lies behind a tiny end of terrace 1960's  non descript house!

 As Assistant County Organisers, Susan and Earl are always on the look out for NEW gardens of interest and quality  to open for the NGS ..If you think you have a lovely garden and would like to share your passion with visitors in a good cause do get in touch. The NGS  was the instigator   of  the District Nurse movement , and   a century later , has grown into a major national charity supporting caring causes like Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Hospices UK and many others.  3800  private gardens open to the public on special days, raised £2.500 000 last year.. DO COME ALONG AND HELP TO RAISE EVEN MORE THIS YEAR.

Colourwheel Art Classes for adults on Thursday mornings or afternoons at St. Andrews Church Hall, Alexandra Park Road N10 2DD.

Illustrating children’s books, course for adults – Wednesday mornings at the Alexandra Palace East Court Creative Pavilion, 10- 12.00am. 4 February – 25 March.

H.A.T.E. Club - Hobby and Tabletop enthusiasts, adult-only gaming club - Wednesday evenings at Karamel, 5.30-10.30pm.

Painting for Fun – Thursdays 8 January to 26 March, at CUFOS Community Centre (the old railway station), Top of The Avenue N10, 10-12.30pm or 1.30-4pm.

Haringey Circle: late morning Creative Coffee Drop-In on Thursday mornings at Oita Cafe, the Green Rooms, Station road N22, 11-1.30pm.

Haringey Circle: Paws and Walk dog walk on the last Thursday of every month in Ally Pally, 10-11.30am. Meet outside Ally Pally station.
