Saturday 21 May, 7:30pm.St Andrews Church, Alexandra Park Road, N10 2DD.Singing the beautiful Mozart Requiem, and the gorgeous Gloria and Beatus Vir by Vivaldi, the Fortismere Community Choir and Orchestra are joined by professional soloists and conducted by Marvin L. Perrott.Marvin became musical director of the choir last year, and the orchestra is already well known for the calibre of its performances, so this is a great opportunity to hear them both performing together, and discover the talents you didn't know your neighbours had! After the popular concerts at the end of last year, this will be a special evening, and you're encouraged to buy tickets in advance, if possible. The concert is in memory of choir member Carlene Hutchinson. Tickets £10/8 – on the door, or in advance from Les Aldrich music shop, 98 Fortis Green Road.
