An introduction to cable knitting with Alison Ferrary.

Send your knitting to the next level by learning how to knit cables. Create texture on a wide range of projects such as summer cardigans, chunky sweaters for winter, throws and pillows. This is a versatile technique that can be used in to add interest to almost any knitting project.

This workshop will introduce the basic techniques of cable knitting. We will cover reading a pattern in written form and chart and the equipment needed to knit cables. The skills learned can be transferred to knitting a larger piece. Participants should be able to knit and follow a basic pattern but do not need to have done cable knitting before.

Please bring your 4mm knitting needles. We will be providing DK yarn to use in the class.
