Finished that crochet or knitted project that just need a bit of finesse?

Come and join Kay Dudman at Stitch and we can help you to finish those projects for once and for all. Finishing techniques are such an important skill to get your projects done with ease and satisfaction! Once you have the know how everything falls into place. With these techniques you will learn how to hide mistakes and imperfections, add a bit of texture and colour and in the end achieve a finished look. These techniques are not only for knitted and crochet projects they can be used to finish and enhance almost anything you can attach it to such as hand kerchiefs, shawls and sewing projects.

In order to get the most from this class, it would be helpful if you could bring along 4mm needles, if not we have in our stash, any projects you are working on and a note book to jot down any notes if you wish. Light refreshments and a comfortable, inspirational environment will be available as well on the day.

In the session with Kay, you will learn:

- Different methods for joining seams

- How to invisibly weave in ends

- Sewing a button onto knitwear and making a worked loop

- a variety of decorative borders
