Our final event of the year for 2022 is our Christmas Craft and Gift Market.

Local artist Nick returns with his latest original paintings on canvas and limited edition prints. Jewellery maker Maria is back with her latest handmade sparkly and classic jewellery collection. Diana will be bringing handmade oak chopping boards and platters plus other wood items for the home. New stall holder Frederike will be bringing an array of unusual Macramé handmade products such as plant holders, wall hangings. Trevor returns with warm pashmina’s, shawls and scarves. Seylia has the latest African print aprons, handmade bags, purses and hair accessories. Janice will be bringing an array of gifts such as decorated picture hangings, Christmas decorations and light jars. Kate returns with wheel thrown pottery that is both functional and colourful. Lyn will be bringing 3D Christmas cards, boxed cards and general greetings cards for all occasions. Nidi will be joining us for the first time and bringing African fabric printed bags and baskets. Plus there are more stalls firming up.

All our stall holders are year round small local businesses. They pop up at Craft Fairs, Markets, County Shows and other types of events. This is not only an opportunity to buy lovely gifts and home decor but also an opportunity to chat with the makers about commissions for special occasions. Perhaps a painting of your home, perhaps made to measure shelving, a special jewellery piece, a wheel thrown diner service, etc..

Illustrating Children’s books, course for adults on Wednesday mornings at The Green Shed, 1 Tetherdown N10, 10-11.30am. April 30 – July 9.

Geekstrav e ganza – regular boardgame meetup on these dates at Karamel, 4 Coburg Road, Wood Green, 1-6pm.

Em Power fitness classes – Monday and Friday mornings in OR Tambo Rec, 9-9.30am (term time only). The main focus is on core and legs.

Life drawing sessions – alternate Saturdays during term time at Rhodes Avenue Primary School, 1-3pm.

Free Martial Arts and Self-defence for Women and girls for the month of March on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Alexandra Park School.

Painting for Pleasure – Thursdays at CUFOS Community Centre (the old railway station), Top of The Avenue N10, 10-12.30pm or 1.30-4pm. Jan 9th - March 27th.
