Wondering what project to do to kick start your crochet season?

The hexagon cardigan might be that thing.

You may have seen the trend in crochet hexagon cardigans on Facebook and Instagram — there are several versions to tempt you, with or without hoods, longline styles, with button borders, using variegated yarns, stripes and other variations! Part of the beauty of a hexagon cardigan is that it is so easy to adapt to the size you want without tricky shaping — that’s got to be a bonus! From children to teens to adults, this is a design that suits everyone.

In this workshop, crochet designer and expert Kay Dudman will show you how to make a hexagon cardigan that is fully reversible. You can opt for an elegant single colour, or choose a stunning variety of colours — whether from a self-striping yarn or different shades of your own choice. Kay will also explain how to adapt the pattern for longer sleeves and body, cuffs, edging and a hood. The more rounds you make the larger the size will be.

This class is for an advanced beginner to advanced crocheter. All the wool, hooks and instruction will be provided to make a smaller version of the cardigan to take home. We will also be providing a warm creative environment, a warm beverage, biscuits with a dash of good company, smiles and laughter as an extra!

You will receive full written instructions to make the cardigan.

We do have wool for sale in the shop to continue your project for you to purchase after your class.
