Join us at Stitch with our amazing seamstress Nadira Dean and take your sewing to the next step.

Does the thought of sewing beyond that beginners pattern scare you? Do you avoid taking the next challenging step with tops and dresses you really want because you are confused about how to do those finishing seams or how to correctly insert those pockets or zips?

In these workshops, Nadira will explain and demonstrate the different ways to insert a variety of zips and pockets for different garments. She will cover finishing seams for different fabrics that work for different fabrics to help you to feel confident to take it to the next step. You do not need to bring anything except a notebook if you wish.

This is a hands on workshop where you will get to have a go at all the different types of Pockets, Zips and Seams on our sewing machine.

This is not a beginners sewing class and you must be proficient on a machine in order to get the best out of this workshop.

What is included:

All materials and equipment including the use of our machines and fabric.

Tutorial on how to do each technique.

Sewing the samples.
