Wouldn’t it be wonderful to give a gift of something handmade for your nearest and dearest this Christmas?   Join us at Stitch to make a Christmas present with the wonderful Pat Stevens and help support our small business to keep us serving you sewing into the New Year and beyond!

Stitch will be hosting a Christmas themed sewing workshop to kick start your holiday in crafting style. Pat our expert seamstress will guide you on the project that you choose. Choose from one or more of these items (depending on time) to sew as a gift or to make for yourself. You will get expert guidance from beginning to end and with our small class sizes, someone will always be on hand to guide you. We have Janome sewing machines for you to use, cutting mats, scissors and rotary cutters. You can bring in your own fabric or you can purchase from our collection in store.

This class is for beginners with knowledge of how to use a sewing machine (ideal for those beginners who have taken our Learn to use a sewing machine class) and more advanced sewers.

Here are 7 projects suggestions to choose from-

- Infinity Scarf

- Apron

- Cushion cover

- Makeup bag (or carry all bag)

- Tote Bag

- Tea Towel

- Pouch

Choose from one or more of these items to sew as a gift or to make for yourself. You will get expert guidance from beginning to end and with our small class sizes someone will always be on hand to guide you. We have Janome sewing machines for you to use, cutting mats, scissors and rotary cutters. You can bring in your own fabric or you can purchase from our collection in store. We will be providing a very festive, creative cheery environment to work in and warm refreshments, biscuits and mince pies will be served. Xmas and recent economic terms have been a very challenging time of year for retail and our small business in light of this we are offering 25% discounts on any fabrics bought on this day.

What else might you like to make? Let us know and we will see if Pat can help.
