Helena grew up in Perth, Scotland, and moved to London in 2012, graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2016.
In 2015 she won the Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year Award. In 2017 she won the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award.
Her Quartet at Karamel includes Will Arnold-Forster on guitar (Yamaha Jazz Scholar 2017) together with Simon Read at the bass and Matt Home on drums.

Our highly acclaimed all day vegan Sunday roast has been going down a storm for over 3 years, and we have recently won the Time Out London 2018 Award for best restaurant in Wood Green.
Karamel is a vegan haven for arts, performances, music and food. By day we are a café/bar with local artist exhibitions, and by evening (Thu-Sat) we host eclectic and varied music and performances with a range of vegan food to match the evening.
We aim to satisfy the most critical beer drinker with our offering of a good range of quality and refreshing craft beers from local or micro-breweries on tap.
