Fancy adding something new to your summer wardrobe or if you are a beginner upgrading your sewing skills?

Come join us here at Stitch Palmers Green and make this Summer Skirt that is perfect for all shapes and sizes.

This skirt is a good all rounder and always on trend. A great project for any ability and by the end of the class you will have a finished skirt that would be a great addition to your summer wardrobe. Wear it with a sweater or just a t-shirt, boots, trainers or sandals to show off your creation! Classes will be taught by our fabulous seamstress Pat and with our small class sizes she will be on hand to to give you individual guidance when you need it.

You can bring your own fabric or choose from our Stitch collection available for purchase in our store. 20% off fabric on the day of your class. Please allow yourself enough time if purchasing before the class starts. If you are bringing your own fabrics we recommend 1.5-2 metres depending on the length and your size. The fabric type recommended for this pattern are cottons, light denims or rayons.

Skills you will learn:

- cutting out a pattern

- inseam pockets

- front pleated waist band

- back elasticated waist band

- hemming

- belt carrier

- pleating waist

- self tie belt optional time permitting.

Geekstrav e ganza – regular boardgame meetup on these dates at Karamel, 4 Coburg Road, Wood Green, 1-6pm.

Em Power fitness classes – Monday and Friday mornings in OR Tambo Rec, 9-9.30am (term time only). The main focus is on core and legs.

Life drawing sessions – alternate Saturdays during term time at Rhodes Avenue Primary School, 1-3pm.

Free Martial Arts and Self-defence for Women and girls for the month of March on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Alexandra Park School.
