Learn to make Dungarees!

They can be one of the most versatile pieces of clothing in your closet for everyday wear anytime of the year. You can dress it up or down, wear it to the park our out with a friend for a cuppa. They can be made with a variety of fabrics, buttons, and ties. With there roomy design it makes them perfect for every body type and they are unisex. This class is taught by our lovely seamstress Pat and light refreshments will be provided.

Skills you will learn: This is an Intermediate level class. You will learn trouser construction, application of a patch pocket, hemming, possible turn-ups, making adjustable straps.

Materials: Please bring your fabric or choose from selection of fabrics at Stitch for purchase in advance before the class starts. The fabric type recommended for this pattern is cottons, light denims, rayons or patterned cord. The pattern will be provided.

You will need to email hello@stitch.org.uk your size for the pattern in advance.

Duration: 6 hrs over two days with a 1/2 hour lunch.
