Sewing Machine Workshop: Next Steps - Sew a Summer Skirt. Saturday 17th May, 10:30-13:30 at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Winchmore Hill.

With expert seamstress Pat Stevens

This class is perfect for those with a basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine, it is a great follow on class from our beginners class.

In this class Pat will guide you through everything you need to take the next steps in your sewing journey. You will make a summer skirt that you can be proud to wear.

Create something personal and individual for yourself or as a gift for a loved one with our talented seamstress Pat. You will need to bring along some fabric further details of this are below

What you need to bring -

to work out how much fabric you need decide what length of skirt you want and measure from your waist to where you with the skirt to end. You will need twice this length of fabric. Ideal fabrics would be cotton, linen or polycotton. For this class we do not advise using stretchy, slippery or sheer fabrics.

All equipment will be provided. We have Janome sewing machines on site. Do bring a notebook in case you wish to jot down ideas.

ENTRANCE TO THE CHURCH HALL IS AROUND THE BACK OF THE CHURCH IN QUEENS AVENUE.
