We are thrilled to bring Steel Pan Fusion to Karamel for the first time!

“This contemporary Steel Pan group showcase the versatility of the Trinidadian instrument. Supremos of the pan Wade Austin and David Vine are supported by a number of fine musicians as they shift between traditional sounds and the shuffling beats of contemporary London." Steel Pan Fusion (SPF) is led by Trinidadian Born Wade Austin who is on a mission to bring Steel pan to the masses. And also coined the slogan 'Not Just for Carnival'.

SPF has been around for a good decade, releasing their Debut album "Melting Pot" back in 2016. With a 2nd EP release in 2022 “Steel Pan Fusion”.

Featuring a group of musicians who are familiar faces on the UK/London live music scene for over 20 years.

Expect to be tapping your foot. Dancing to the infectious grooves. Funk, Soul, Afrobeat and Jazz fused with some traditional elements from Trinidad and the Caribbean.

Band leader Wade Austin and David Vine are virtuoso Steel Pan players that are pushing the boundaries of the instrument to new horizons. Definitely Not Just For Carnival.

Museum of Homelessness will be open from 17 April to 1 November, at the Manor House Lodge, inside Finsbury Park, Seven Sisters Road N4 2DE 12.30-4.30pm.

Illustrating Children’s books, course for adults on Wednesday mornings at The Green Shed, 1 Tetherdown N10, 10-11.30am. April 30 – July 9.

Geekstraveganza – regular boardgame meetup on these dates at Karamel, 4 Coburg Road, Wood Green, 1-6pm.

Em Power fitness classes – Monday and Friday mornings in OR Tambo Rec, 9-9.30am (term time only). The main focus is on core and legs.

Life drawing sessions – alternate Saturdays during term time at Rhodes Avenue Primary School, 1-3pm.
