  • Latest Activity: Nov 24, 2025

If you'd like to learn to inhabit your body and find out how to walk with better balance and posture, then come along to the Walk With Ease class. Discover what it's like to walk being consciousness of your body and your surroundings. In this outdoors class, we start with a gentle warm up. We then walk short distances to try out new ideas and come back together to see what these feel like. No degree of fitness is needed. Just an open mind and a wish to learn in a fun and gentle environment.

Things we'll address: Are you aware of your body when you walk? Are you a pavement thumper? Is your head looking down? Do you ever trip or stumble?

Only £10 per class.

You can reserve a place in advance or check on the day to see if there are still spaces.

Please wear normal clothes that are comfortable to walk in, appropriate to the day's weather.

Tanya Shoop is a highly experienced Alexander Technique teacher. In addition to her group classes, she works one to one with people from her studio in Bowes Park, N22.
