Tina and the band will be performing a mix of lesser-known standards and original work from her newly - released album “Moon Over Mildmay” which, she says is “about otherness, where I am, who I’ve been - and about life still being an utter puzzle, and trying to find meaning and beauty in it all. Most of all, it’s about re-discovering my love of music, and what it means to me”

FEATURING

Tina Carr -vocals, Matt Robinson - piano, Max Luthert - double bass, Rod Oughton - drums

About the performers:

A few years ago, having had no formal music training, London-based vocalist Tina Carr walked away from a professional life working with freelance journalists and threw herself into the music she'd been privately making all her life. Since then she has been swiftly building a reputation as a vibrant and charismatic vocalist.

With a love of great women singers, from Carmen Macrae and Lena Horne, to Annie Ross and Sheila Jordan, Tina holds a torch for the great jazz vocal tradition, but has her own take, with her distinctive and instantly recognisable voice, and warm, authentic jazz vibe.

Having played with many notable musicians on the live circuit in the UK and Europe, Tina has performed three years of sell-out headline shows in the EFG London Jazz Festival. Her debut album ‘Songs for Curly’ came out in 2023. Her second album, “Moon Over Mildmay” was released in March 2026. http://tinacarrmusic.com
