refugees welcome haringey (1)

Refugees Welcome Haringey is inviting Haringey residents to join them in celebrating Refugee Week at the launch of their Four Families by Christmas campaign at Lordship Rec on Sunday 26 June 2-5pm. At the event, there will be talks, music, and poetry readings, and a collection for a refugee charity. All are welcome.

Up and down the country hundreds of arts, cultural and educational events will be taking place to encourage better understanding between communities.

The Four Families by Christmas campaign urges Haringey Council to resettle four Syrian families via the Government Vulnerable Person Resettlement scheme by Christmas 2016.
