Last Saturday I went to get bread from Sweet Tree Bakery and bumped into the Palace Gates Residents' Association gardeners tackling the beds at the top of Crescent Road.

In normal times the gardeners meet once a month to do planting, pruning and general tidying of the beds at the Triangle and at the Crescent Road/Rise roundabout - and hopefully will start doing this again on a regular basis soon! Meanwhile, they are meeting at irregular times - if you would like to join in, or just find out more about what they are doing, you can email Molly at mollydoran@live.co.uk
