Join us for our Colour Play Stitch & Fizz Class with Stitch! Crafts and Classes in Palmers Green, North London. 5 minutes from Palmers Green Station and easily accessed by bus from Southgate, Turnpike Lane or Wood Green. Learn to experiment with colour and embroider your designs to customise and upcycle a piece of clothing or fabric patch.

This class is a collaboration between two amazingly talented and inspiring teachers. In the first hour Eloisa Henderson-Figueroa, a collage and mural artist, will help you to experiment with colour and shape to create a unique custom design. Eloisa is an expert in bringing out the creativity in everyone and making it a fun and relaxing process particularly helpful to those of us prone to overthinking!

In the second hour Anna Araujo (an experienced textiles teacher) will help you transfer your design onto a fabric patch or if you are brave, directly onto your own garment and show you how to embroider the design using simple stitches that anyone can master.

This class is designed to be fun and interactive and you will be provided with Prosecco or a soft drink and homemade brownies to help fuel your creativity.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The art of colour play
  • how to use collage to create a unique and impactful design
  • How to enjoy the process of design without overthinking
  • How to transfer patterns onto fabric
  • Basic embroidery techniques

What to Bring:

  • If you wish to embellish something of your own then bring along a piece of clothing or fabric piece. Hoodies, denim items or tote bags can work particularly well. (We will also provide fabric patches if you don't want to use something of your own and these can always be sown onto a garment or bag at a later date if you wish)

Join us for a fun and inspiring session of stitching and creativity. Walk away with the ability to create beautiful customised pieces that will be uniquely yours!
