Looking for something different and creative to do with your Saturday morning and learn a new skill?

Join us at Stitch with local artist and creator Sharon Wallin with a morning of mindful creativeness!

Enjoy creating an embroidered Mandala style piece of textile art. Using recycled materials, buttons, beads and a range of threads, you will develop your own unique design.

This class uses simple stitches and is suitable for beginners as well as those who wish to embark on a new creative process. During this class you will develop your design ideas and will learn how to use stitching to create fun, interesting and unusual effects.

All materials will be provided but if you have fabric, threads and other embellishments that you would like to incorporate into your design you are welcome to bring them along.

Light refreshments, wine, biscuits and a warm learning environment, smiles, laughter and some serious hand sewing will be included.

Museum of Homelessness will be open from 17 April to 1 November, at the Manor House Lodge, inside Finsbury Park, Seven Sisters Road N4 2DE 12.30-4.30pm.

Illustrating Children’s books, course for adults on Wednesday mornings at The Green Shed, 1 Tetherdown N10, 10-11.30am. April 30 – July 9.

Geekstraveganza – regular boardgame meetup on these dates at Karamel, 4 Coburg Road, Wood Green, 1-6pm.

Em Power fitness classes – Monday and Friday mornings in OR Tambo Rec, 9-9.30am (term time only). The main focus is on core and legs.

Life drawing sessions – alternate Saturdays during term time at Rhodes Avenue Primary School, 1-3pm.
