Wednesday, 10th June. Meet at the Bar and Kitchen at 7pm for a 1 and quarter hour Park History Walk led by Stuart Little entitled "Where they Stood"

The walk will feature some historic and some less ‘historic’ moments in the history of the park. We will visit the spots where the events took place and see them as they were (A4 photos), and as they are now.

Proms in the Park are the first of ten free Sundays of volunteer organised, quality music and more in Broomfield Park, Palmers Green N13. Nine are purely musical with the tenth being the multi-event, park-filling, Palmers Green Festival.  The four quirky Proms on July's Sunday afternoons bring a range of styles from some first class north London performers. These are followed by five seriously professional Blues-centric afternoons on each Sunday afternoon in August .  With help from the weather 10 000 visitors should be toped this year across the ten events. APN's are very welcome - and also free of charge.

Enjoy yourself while supporting this historic park and the efforts of the local Friends group to maintain it by popping along.

Death Cafe

Tea or coffee and cake are essential to give us the feeling of comfort and support in breaching the most taboo topic of our age, which in also the only certainty which we will all inevitably face.  This is a paradox I enjoy and I hope you will too. These Death Cafes are sponsored by the Supporters of Alexandra Park library, a local voluntary group.

The next Death Cafe is taking place on 25th June from 5;00pm til 6:45 pm at Alexandra Park Library, Alexandra Park Road, London N22 7UJ
