Mon 18 July 6.30pm Haringey Civic Centre, High Road, Wood Green N22

On Monday 18th July Refugees Welcome Haringey will be speaking at a full council meeting, and asking the Council to pass a motion committing to accept 4 Syrian refugee families by Christmas 2016.

Come along from 6.30pm to show your support outside the Civic Centre and help them make the right decision!

The Lib Dems are also putting in a motion asking the council to commit to protecting EU migrants in the borough - so this also is a chance to show your support for EU Migrants and counter some of the fear and uncertainty that migrants and refugees are facing at the moment.

Dear All,

Tomorrow at 1pm, Great Northern will be making a video about our project. They are very excited about what's going on.

Would you like to be in it? Also at 2pm I am meeting with the Chief Executive of Alexandra Palace, at the station. It would be wonderful for her to see how many people have been involved in transforming the station and the community.

Can you be there? You need only bring yourself and your story, 1pm at the station. Stay for as long as you like - ideally 1-3pm, but any amount of time is fine. Let us know by commenting here, and/or emailing friendsofallypallystation@gmail.com

Best wishes,

Michael

Opening of the Priory Road Rainscapes eco-project. Rainscapes are green wildlife oases which soak up water when it rains, and help reduce local flooding. They can also help to improve water quality, and this is also the aim here – to help clean up the River Moselle. Come and find out more on a short guided walk visiting the three new Priory Road Rainscapes, followed by an official opening.

 Monday 27th June at 10:30am – 12:30pm

Please meet on the corner of Eltheldene Avenue and Park Road, N8 8JG (Opposite Audio Gold) for 10:30am.

This event is part of London Rivers Week, a week-long celebration of London’s rivers, with expert guided walks, family-friendly events and river clean-ups around the capital (if you have a waterlogged garden, you could get some ideas for creating your own raingarden!).
