Insect Talk by Dan Hackett

Friends of Alexandra Park Insect Talk by Dan Hackett   Wednesday  March 16th

So far this year our talks have covered swifts and wildflowers, and now we come to insects, which are of course vital to the survival of both birds and plants. Local entomologist Dan Hackett will give us a quick look across the main types of insects which live in our area, bearing in mind that the 2010 BioBlitz in the Park found 212 types of insect and 26 types of arachnid.

The talk is free and will start at 8pm in the Park Information Centre in The Grove, but come any time after 7.30pm and enjoy a drink before we start.  Places are limited so please email allyparkn10@gmail.com to book a seat, and say if you need directions to the Park Information Centre.
